Project: Slow motion Art Installation
Location: In front of the Louvre Museum in Paris
Year: 2019
Material: Metal
This work was first exhibited in front of the Louvre in Paris in 2019, and its structure forms a transparent, moving curtain that distorts the surrounding buildings through continuous optical changes. These magnifying glasses repeatedly and smoothly transform the appearance of the museum, changing visual perception and introducing dynamic interaction between the audience, objects, and environment.
After being exhibited in Paris, this installation was placed on a canal in Venice, Italy. It hangs above the water surface and interacts with the surrounding environment through reflection and refraction, creating a layered and fragmented visual effect. At night, the city's lights pass through the lens, producing diffraction patterns that distinguish this device from its physical environment.
